Editor. Memoirist. Listener.
I’m an editor, memoirist, and collaborative writer. I love helping clients find meaning, healing, and transcendence through the act of telling and refining their stories.
Before writing full-time, I served as a chaplain in a major trauma hospital and cancer center, and I try to bring a chaplain’s gentleness and empathy to every project I work on.
I also spent five years freelancing for a parenting blog, helping other parents find humor, joy, life hacks, and — crucially — cute diaper bags.
My own creative work has been published in many publications, including The Washington Post, Mockingbird, Rock & Sling, Hippocampus, The Tennessean, Chapter 16, and more.
When I’m not helping clients, I can be found coaching my kids’ soccer teams, devouring literary fiction, and becoming overly emotionally invested in every season of The Great British Baking Show. I live with my husband, three kids, and the world’s least nimble cat in the Nashville suburbs.
